It all started almost 10 years ago when Paul decided to move his sportfishing boat to Cabo San Lucas. Once there Captain Martin was hired to take care of the sportfisher and captain the boat so Paul could peruse his passion to catch big game fish in the nutrient rich waters offshore Cabo. Fishing about 10 days every month together Martin and Paul have caught their personal best largest fish. A blue at 930 pounds, wahoo over 100 pounds, seven Yellowfin Tuna over 300 pounds and a Dorado at nearly 70 Pounds. It didn't take long to know their association went way beyond just another captain and owner.

The excitement rose after they agreed to team up and their emotions exploded in purchasing the first boat a California 28. Paying attention to detail and knowing exactly what anglers would like they equipped all Hook Up boats with Penn International reels and the best big game rods. Then made a total renovation of the California 28 Then added a brand new Pompanette fighting chair and built-in transom bait tank to their newly acquired Innovator 31. They stress customer service too just wanting their anglers to enjoy the Cabo Sportfishing adventure aboard Hook Up Charter.
